An animation done for the start of Inktober, as well as a test of style that I will be using for some pieces throughout the event. The idea of this piece was mainly to break boundaries of Inktober, to make use of 3D mediums to look like Ink. Instead of using traditional means, hopefully we can adapt this process to open a new doorway of approaches to produce fresh and unique artworks for Inktober.

The animation was done in Cinema 4D with a simple setup of motexts, cloners, displacers and tracers. The font used was MCF Revolution Ink. Since I wanted to keep things fast and simple, I decided to go for a flat node plugged through the Arnold Shader Network for the texture. Overall, the setup took only about 30 minutes to create and the render took about 5 minutes for a complete footage.
